About Us

  • A humble cafe that started in 1989 inside a local bowling center, Jackie’s Bowl along East Coast Road; it has since become a full fledged restaurant spanning over 3 outlets in various locations in Singapore.
  • The café was the first in Singapore that was serving local cooked food inside a bowling center. On top of the usual curry puffs, chicken pies, sandwiches, and hot dogs that was on the menu then at Different Taste Café, they were also selling Curry Fish Head and other “Zhi Char” dishes like Foo Yong Omelet, Chicken Prawn Paste, Honey Pork Spare Ribs and Sweet & Sour Sliced Fish just to name a few.
